Who We Are

Diamond Forest Resources Corporate Mission is to become the premier pallet manufacturer, recycler and wholesale supplier in North America. Our goal is to be recognized by our customers for providing the highest level of service, quality products, for the lowest cost. We define value and commitment to our customer’s satisfaction by exceeding their needs and expectations through our actions.  Customer loyalty is one of the critical success measurements we use to maintain our focus on excellence in all we do.

1985
Diamond Forest Resources was created as an independent, manufacturing operation by the co-founders of Acorn Industries.

1988
The addition of our sister company, ClearCreek Hardwoods provided a sawmill to further strengthen Diamond Forest's production capacity. During this same year, Diamond Forest joined the International Association of Pallet Recyclers (IAPR), committing to the goal of continuous improvement through education and training. Recycling is essential to ensuring a better and cleaner environment. John Huber served as President of the IARP in 1995 and 1996, and also served on the Board of Directors for six years.

1991
Diamond Forest became one of the first of 12 companies to fund C.A.M.P (Cleveland Area Manufacturing Practices), now known as the "Cleveland Study", which analyzed the grocery industry to determine the actual cost per trip of various pallet models. This important study initiated a significant paradigm shift still impacting how companies conduct business today.

1992
Diamond Forest became one of the first companies to become SPEQ licensed and certified, participating in NAPAR's "Guaranteed Buyback" program, developed in conjunction with the NWPCA and IAPR.

1996
Diamond’s founders negotiated the merger of the IAPR and NWPCA. Upon the merger of the two, Mr. Huber served on the Board of Directors of the NWPCA, having previously served on several NWPCA committees.

1997
Diamond Forest and ClearCreek Hardwoods were both recognized by OSHA for excellent safety records, both received the Trustee Safety Award from the Forest Industry Workers Compensation Fund.
